Description:	Michigan has some of the highest deer and turkey populations in the country. Only problem is that there are more hunters per square mile in MI than any other state. Plus every hunter can legally harvest 2 bucks per year. When you give 750,000 hunters a total of 4 weeks to kill 2 bucks with a firearm, and another 2 months with a bow, it’s no surprise that the age structure of whitetail busks in MI is very young. If I were a mature buck, MI would be the last place I would want to live.
